C2-Specific Expertise

What We Fix On C2 Corvettes

The 1963–1967 Sting Ray has its own service profile — IRS, big-block specifics, and the unique demands of vintage performance.

Independent Rear Suspension

C2 introduced IRS to the Corvette — bushing replacement, half-shaft rebuilds, differential service, and trailing arm work.

Big Block 396 / 427 Service

L36, L68, L71, L72, L88, L89 — diagnosis, tuning, valvetrain work, and full rebuilds when warranted.

Carburetor & Triple-Carb Setup

Tri-power 427 setups, Holley double-pumpers, and Carter AFB rebuilds and tuning.

Disc Brake Service (1965+)

C2 introduced 4-wheel disc brakes mid-generation. Caliper rebuilds, line work, and master cylinder service.

Side-Pipe Restoration

Cleanup, refit, and service of the iconic side-mount exhaust systems.

Steering Box & Linkage

Recirculating ball steering box rebuilds, idler arms, drag links, and tie rods.

Cooling System for Florida

Big-block cooling capacity isn’t enough for SWFL summers — we engineer cooling solutions that keep C2s on the road.

Pre-Purchase Inspections

Numbers-matching verification, tank stamps, body assembly markers — we know what to look for.

Mechanical Restoration

Drivetrain refresh and full mechanical restoration to driver-grade or show-grade standard.

Owner Questions

What C2 Owners Ask Us

Do you work on C2 Sting Ray big block 427s?
Yes. We service all C2 big-block engines — L36, L68, L71, L72, L88, L89. Tuning, rebuilding, valvetrain work, and forensic diagnosis when something doesn’t sound right.
Can you service the C2 independent rear suspension?
Yes. The C2 IRS is a Corvette signature design. We replace half-shaft U-joints, trailing arm bushings, differential mounts, and rebuild the GM differential cases. We also diagnose and fix the rear wheel bearings.
Do you tune tri-power and 4-barrel C2 carburetor setups?
Yes. Tri-power 2×4 and 3×2 setups, Holley 4150/4160 carbs, and Carter AFBs — rebuilt, calibrated, and synchronized.
What should I look for when buying a C2?
Frame condition (especially below the battery), birdcage rust, original tank stamps, matching numbers verification, IRS condition, and prior crash repair. We perform comprehensive C2 pre-purchase inspections.
Can you keep a C2 reliable as a driver in Florida?
Yes. We’ve kept many C2s on the road as weekly drivers. Cooling system upgrades, modern electronic ignition options, ethanol-resistant fuel components, and a thoughtful preventive maintenance schedule make all the difference.
Do you handle 1963 split-window Corvettes?
Yes. The split-window ’63 is one of the most valuable C2 variants. We service them with the care and documentation they deserve.

Your C2 Deserves The Best.

Specialized repairs, expert diagnostics, craftsmanship you can count on — done right the first time.
