Why Legendary For This Service

Corvette PPI:
Don’t Buy Blind.

Every Corvette generation has a different list of things to check. C1/C2 frame condition. C3 birdcage rust. C4 Opti-Spark health. C5 column lock and rear seals. C6 harmonic balancer. C7 AFM lifter compression check. C8 DCT operation and battery health. A general shop’s PPI checks tires and fluids. Ours checks what actually matters.

We perform comprehensive Corvette PPIs in Fort Myers — local cars, cars being shipped to you from out-of-state, and cars at dealerships across Florida. You get a written report with photos, a video walkthrough, and a phone call to discuss findings.

If you’re considering buying a Corvette — talk to us first.

Owner Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a Corvette pre-purchase inspection cost?
Our standard Corvette PPI is $300-500 depending on generation and depth requested. C8 PPIs are typically $400 because of the additional DCT and electronics testing. Worth every penny when it saves you from a $10,000 mistake.
Can you inspect a Corvette being sold by a dealership across Florida?
Yes. We can do PPIs at dealerships across Florida. The seller brings the car to us, or we travel within reason. We coordinate directly with the seller and provide our report directly to you.
How long does a PPI take?
2-4 hours of inspection time, plus another hour to write up the report. We typically deliver the written report within 24 hours of inspection completion.
Will the seller let you do a PPI?
Reputable sellers will allow a PPI without question. If a seller refuses to allow inspection by a qualified specialist, that’s a red flag — walk away. We’re happy to call sellers directly to coordinate.
What’s the most important thing to check on a C7 before buying?
Compression check on cylinders 1, 4, 6, 7 (the AFM cylinders) to verify lifter health. Plus torque tube inspection, 8L90 fluid condition, and front bumper alignment (these get hit a lot). We document all of it.
Can I get a PPI report I can use to negotiate the price?
Yes — and most buyers do. A documented PPI report with photos lets you negotiate intelligently or walk away with confidence. We don’t tell you what to offer, but our report gives you what you need to decide.
