Why Legendary For This Service

Corvette Suspension:
Era-Specific Service.

A C4 with FX3 selective ride that no longer adjusts. A C5 with worn rear cradle bushings. A C6 with leaking magnetic ride shocks. A C7 with MRC 3.0. A C8 with MRC 4.0. Corvette suspension service spans 70 years of evolution — and every era has its own challenges.

We service mechanical and electronic suspension systems across all eight generations. Bushing replacement, shock service, magnetic ride control diagnosis and replacement, alignment, and even FX3-to-passive-shock conversions when the original electronics aren’t worth saving.

If your Corvette doesn’t feel right — bring it in. We’ll figure out why.

Owner Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if my magnetic ride control is failing?
Symptoms include MRC warning lights, a noticeably harsh or dead ride, fluid leaking from shocks, or characteristic ‘thumping’ over bumps. We test the controller, inspect the shocks, and confirm before recommending replacement (which is significant cost).
Can I convert my C4 FX3 system to regular shocks?
Yes — and it’s often the smart move. The C4 FX3 system uses electronically adjustable shocks that are increasingly hard to source and expensive to replace. High-quality passive shocks (Bilstein, Koni) often deliver better real-world performance. We’ll lay out both options with costs.
How often should Corvette suspension bushings be replaced?
Original-rubber bushings start hardening and cracking around 100,000 miles or 15-20 years, whichever comes first. Florida heat accelerates this. Polyurethane bushings last longer but transmit more noise. We can do either — your call.
Does my C8 need a special alignment?
Yes — C8 alignment requires specific procedures and the right specs. Aggressive performance alignments are available for track use; standard street alignments for daily driving. We can match either.
Why does my C7 ride harder than it used to?
Most likely magnetic ride shocks are failing. C7 MRC 3.0 shocks have a service life of 60,000-100,000 miles. When they fail, the system defaults to a firm setting and you lose the adaptive damping. We can diagnose and replace.
Do you do C2 / C3 IRS bushing kits?
Yes. C2 and C3 trailing arm bushings, differential mount bushings, and strut rod bushings are all common service items. We use polyurethane or rubber depending on your goals — show, daily, or driver.
